A:你养宠物吗? 

nǐ yăng chǒng wù ma?

Do you have any pets?

B:我养了一只猫。它又安静又可爱。 

wǒ yǎng le yī zhī māo. tā yòu ān jìng yòu kě ài.

I have a cat. It is quiet and lovely.

A:我喜欢狗,想养一只。

wǒ xǐ huān gǒu, xiǎng yǎng yī zhī 

I love dogs, I’d like to have one.

B:我有个朋友,他的狗刚生了小狗,可以收养一只。

wǒ yǒu gè péng yǒu,tā de gǒu gāng shēng le xiǎo gǒu,kě yǐ shōu yǎng yī zhī。

I have a friend whose dog has just given birth to puppies recently, you can adopt one.

A:这个周末你能陪我去宠物超市吗? 

zhè gè zhōu mò nǐ néng péi wǒ qù chǒng wù chāo shì ma?

Could you go with me to the pet’s mart this weekend?

B:好的。我也顺便去采购点猫粮。 

hǎo de. wǒ yě shùn biàn qù cǎi gòu diǎnr māo liáng.

Okay. I will be going to buy some food for my cat.
