The store is a part of the Pokémon Championship Series events.

We are going to visit the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store!

Some people at the store may know about Pokémon from the anime series, the video games or the trading card game. The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store has things for sale like Pokémon toys, games, cards, and apparel.

There are lots of fun things to see, and many other people who also love Pokémon will be excited to visit. Sometimes, the store will be busy with lots of people. If that happens, I can decide if I want to go inside the store or not. If I choose to go inside the store, I can still have a fun visit!

When I go inside, the building might be noisy and filled with lots of people. The people there might be very excited, and some might be dressed up in Pokémon clothing. I can take my time finding the Pop-Up Store. It is okay to ask a member of staff if I’m not sure.

The entrance to the store looks a bit like this. It may have different designs or different Pokémon on the wall. There will be people wearing bright vests at the entrance to the store.

These people are called ‘Brand Ambassadors’. They might ask me if I have a reservation. I can show them my reservation on my phone or tablet. As another option, I can ask my parent or guardian, friend, or support worker to show them my reservation for me.

My reservation time for the Pop-Up Store is the time that I can enter the store. I can arrive at my reservation time or up to one hour earlier.

If I arrive at my reservation time I can go into the store. There may be a line of people also waiting to go inside the store. I can wait calmly and quietly to enter the store.

If I arrive early at the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, I will wait in a special area until it is my time to go inside. Other people will also be waiting there. People wait at the Pop-Up Store to make sure they can go into the store at the right time. This is to help make sure there are not too many people in the store at the same time.

The store might be busy and noisy, with lots of people at the entrance. There might be music playing. I can wait calmly and quietly for my turn to go into the store. If I am uncomfortable, it is okay to leave and come back at my reservation time.

I may find it uncomfortable or overwhelming at the Pop-Up Store entrance. It is okay if I feel like this, and I can let a Brand Ambassador know. They can help me go into the store through a separate entrance.

Sometimes, Pikachu will visit! Pikachu comes to visit the store entrance at certain times during the day and may even be there when I am visiting. If I want, I can have my photo taken with Pikachu. Lots of people will be excited to see Pikachu, so I may have to wait my turn in a line to see Pikachu.

Inside the store, I will see lots of people. Some will be walking around, and many will be looking at things for sale. Some people may have colorful or interesting outfits. People might also be waiting in a line to buy something. There may be lots of different types of people in the store, and they will all be excited to be in the Pokémon Center!

I might hear a lot of different sounds. It may be noisy, with lots of people talking and laughing. There might be beeping sounds from the checkout or other electronic equipment. There might even be Pokémon music playing! The Pokémon Center can be a little loud, and that is okay. I can bring and wear headphones if I want the sounds to be quieter and more comfortable.

There may also be bright lights inside the store. There will be a lot of colourful displays with Pikachu, Eevee, and other Pokémon. There may also be big signs and shelves filled with Pokémon items. The lights are bright so that everyone can see what is for sale.

If the bright lights make me anxious or uncomfortable, that is okay because I can bring and wear dark glasses to help me feel better .

There will be people wearing black t-shirts with a Poké Ball logo and the word ‘STAFF’ on them. These are Pop-Up Store staff members. If I need help while I am in the store, I can ask these people to help me.

I might feel overwhelmed by the different sights and sounds in the store. If I feel this way, I can remember that I am safe and I can take a break if I need to. I can tell my parent or guardian, friend, or support worker if I need a break, and they can even find a Pop-Up Store staff member to help.

When I am ready, I can explore the Pokémon Center and find something I like! I can take my time looking at all the Pokémon items. It’s okay if I don’t want to buy anything right away. I can just enjoy seeing all the different Pokémon things.

If lots of people are excited about an item, it might be sold out. I might feel disappointed or upset if an item I would like to buy is not available. It’s okay to feel like this and I can talk about it with my parent or guardian, friend, or support worker.

If I want to buy something, I may have to wait in a line. There may be other people in front of me who are also waiting to buy things. I can wait patiently and quietly for my turn to pay.

The person at the checkout will put my items in a bag for me. They might also ask me how I would like to have my receipt. I can choose an email, text, or paper receipt. It’s okay if I am not sure, and I can ask my parent or guardian, friend, or support worker to help me decide.

After I buy the items I want, I can leave the Pokémon Center when I am ready. It may feel crowded, as lots of people might want to leave at the same time. After I leave, I can find a quiet place to relax and enjoy looking at my new Pokémon things!

I can ask my parent or guardian, friend, or support worker to help me look at my receipt and make sure everything is correct. If there is a mistake, I can ask a person at the Customer Service desk for help. The Customer Service desk is at the Pokémon Center Pop-up Store exit.

Visiting the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store can be a big adventure! I can be proud of myself for learning about ways to feel comfortable and have a great time. Later, I might want to talk to my family or friends about my visit to the Pokémon Center. I might feel happy or proud that I went, and I might want to show them what I bought.

I am brave and I did an amazing job visiting the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store!
